LONDON: A man who suffers from premature ejaculation has been sentenced to four months' jail and is facing a minimum of 30 months' imprisonment, following a five-year investigation.
The South African sentenced in October for selling more than 2,000 fake Viagra tablets on the black market and receiving a £1.5 million penalty, the High Court has announced.
The High Court ruled on Wednesday that Viagra tablets were sold on the black market without a prescription and that the offences were not 'illegal', because the tablets were 'in the public domain'.
The judge also ruled that the court had not judged the sale of the tablets to be illegal in South Africa.
According to the High Court, the court heard that Mr Praktaj, a man who had a long-term sexual relationship with his wife, had previously sold more than 3,000 fake Viagra pills on the black market.
He was found guilty in 2013 of selling more than 2,000 fake Viagra pills, and had also been sentenced to three months' imprisonment in 2013 after the South African judge said he had sold more than 2,000 fake Viagra pills.
Mr Praktaj was originally sentenced to one year's imprisonment for selling more than 2,000 fake Viagra pills but later was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, and ordered to pay a £1.5 million fine.
Speaking at the sentencing hearing, Mr Praktaj said: 'I am very surprised to learn that this was an offence that was not an offence at all and that was in relation to a woman, a man, and a child.
'I had a sexual relationship with my wife when I was 19 years old and she was married for 15 years. It is very hard for me to say that I have had an accident and I didn't know what to do.

Judge Johannes Viana of the High Court in Pretoria has ordered a five-year investigation into the sale of the fake pills.
